WELCOME TO YORK COUNTY'S SELF SERVICE PORTAL EMPLOYEE SELF SERVICE (ESS) LOGIN INSTRUCTIONS Click on the link “Log In" on the upper right corner of this screen. Then, type in your User name (employee id#) and Password. *For FIRST-TIME ESS USERS, your login is your employee id#, and your password is the last 4 digits of your Social Security number. You will then be prompted to change your password. Password Requirements Minimum length of 8 characters Must contain at least one number Must contain combination of upper and lower case Must contain at least one special charachter such as @,#,$,etc. (password cannot begin with special character)
